 Owner - Michael Szczotka
Michael Szczotka is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BA in public education. He is a native Californian and moved to the North County in 1971. Mr. Szczotka worked in the import/export business of raw cotton from Imperial Valley to over seas for 15 years. In 1984 he became interested in importing ceramic tile from Japan and became involved with Encinitas Tile. In 1985 he became a partner and in 1991 took full ownership of Encinitas Tile. During those years, he has taken the company from a small business to a major ceramic and stone retailer for the North County. He now has two showrooms and over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space. His vision for the company is to give his customers a large selection of high quality products from all around the world so their decorative dreams can become reality. |
